Dear Soundview Family,

There is a lot to look forward to this spring. Here are some events for your calendar: 

  • The 5th through 8th grade bands and orchestra will have a concert next week, Thursday, April 27, at 4:30 PM in our performing arts center. The concert is open to all Soundview students, faculty, and parents. We hope to see you there.

  • Teacher appreciation week is May 1 through May 5. Look for more information from our Soundview Parent and Guardian Association. We look forward to celebrating our faculty! 

  • We have a Community Coffee on Wednesday, May 10, at 9:10 AM in our performing arts center. I will be talking about our board’s current strategic planning process, which sets the priorities for the next three to five years at Soundview. This is a really easy way to engage with the planning process and we really want to talk to you.

  • The Middle School’s Declamations Night is Thursday, May 25, from 4:00 to 5:30 PM, in our performing arts center. This is a student-run variety show performance and a long-standing Soundview tradition. 

  • Remember, there is no school May 29 and 30 for Memorial Day and report card writing for teachers.
