Students at Soundview call me Ms. Teresa. I hold a BA in English from Virginia Commonwealth University and completed postgraduate work in education at Mary Baldwin University. Although my time at Soundview began in June 2022, my teaching career spans over twenty years, encompassing learning support, gifted education, and English. I also bring experience supporting neurodivergent adults through non-profits and community services boards. As Soundview's Director of Learning and Skills Collaborative Coordinator, I love empowering our teachers and guiding students to tackle challenges using strength-based strategies. Outside of school, you can usually find me hiking, cooking, attending a Shakespeare play, or spending time with my family.
