I joined Soundview in 2017 and worked in the Middle Years Program for five years. In 2022, I transitioned to being Soundview's Librarian. This is my second year as the Director of Curriculum, IB Coordinator, and librarian. I focus on the "what" we teach and support teachers in all the hard work that they do. Students call me Ms. Armstrong or Ms. Erin. My daugher attends Soundview as well, so I also respond to "Cori's Mom." Soundview students have a willingness to take risks with an open-mind and a caring heart, which inspires my work every day. I have an M.F.A. in Creative Writing and have been teaching in independent schools since 2012. I love to read, write, and spend time with my two daughters. When I am not at school, I can be found on the Ultimate field or with my nose in a book.
