Congratulations!

Dear Soundview Family, 

My most sincere congratulations to all of you. At the close of this year’s Annual Fundraising Gala, we officially met our annual fundraising goal of $360,000. What pushed us over the top was a record-breaking $65,000 raised at the Gala. Your care and generosity have ensured that Soundview will continue to provide the Skills Collaborative, arts education, adhere to the International Baccalaureate standards, welcome a culturally and economically diverse population, employ a school counselor, and so much more. In short, you have provided an educational environment that is ethical, rigorous, and compassionate. Thank you–each and every one of you.

A few reminders: 

• Parent-student-teacher conferences are next Thursday and Friday, March 30 and 31. Conference sign-up is available on your teacher’s Toddle. There is no school Thursday and Friday, March 30 and 31. You can bring your child to campus. They will be supervised during the times of your conferences. 

• It’s Spring Break! Soundview will be closed from Monday, April 3 through Friday, April 7, 2023. School resumes on Monday, April 10, 2023. 

• Soundview's long-standing Personal Social Physical Education/Personal Health Education curriculum now includes sexual and health education for Grades 5 through 8. This includes instruction about human development and reproduction that takes place over time and is age-appropriate and inclusive of all students. Look for a detailed communication via Toddle next Tuesday from Chrissy Sinclair.
