  • Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) Heritage Month is observed throughout May 2026 (May 1–31), honoring the history, culture, and achievements of the AANHPI community.   • The International Week of Deaf People, also known as Deaf Awareness Week, is May 4th - 10th. This is an annual global event that aims to shed light on the issues faced by the deaf community, promote their culture and achievements, and foster a more inclusive society. The purpose of this holiday is to increase public awareness about the issues affecting deaf people and deaf culture as a whole. You can learn more about this HERE

  • Thursday, May 21st is Global Accessibility Awareness Day (GAAD). This is an awareness day focusing on digital access and inclusion for the more than one billion people alive today who live with disabilities or impairments. The purpose of GAAD is to get everyone talking, thinking and learning about digital access and inclusion. It is marked annually on the third Thursday of May. You can learn more about this HERE
