We have exciting camps for Summer Fun 2012 at Soundview School, featuring Camp Invention, iPad 2 Animation, RC Car Racing, and Art for our 6 to 12 year olds! We also have Dinosaur Roar and Bubble Blowing Blast for our 3-5 year olds. Camps run between June 18th through August 3rd. We hope you join us!

Soundview Organic Garden and Greenhouse

The Soundview organic garden and greenhouse is used to learn more about how our food grows and serves as an outdoor classroom so students can connect more closely with the learning process. The organic garden and greenhouse helps students learn that in our ever evolving world it is important to think locally as well as globally; it asks students to think about what is involved in order to bring food to our tables and what are the global repercussions of our meal decisions? 

In correlation with the concepts that the organic garden and greenhouse highlight, students having been reading Omnivore’s Dilemma, which delves further into the steps involved in growing the food that ends up on our dinner table and highlights how actions in our backyard impact our global community.

Students at Soundview Middle School are nurtured in a small and safe environment for them to explore, express, connect and build close relationships with their peers and teachers. They explore questions through project-based, inquiry driven core classes and a variety of specialty courses including art, concert band, Spanish, technology, library/media and creative projects.

Soundview Middle School is the only school offering the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (IB MYP) among private schools in our area.
