We started our day with a fabulous LEGO STEAM activity! Students started with an image of a winter holiday celebrated somewhere around the world. They were then challenged to create that symbol using Legos. Depending on which level of activity they chose, they either estimated and checked how many pieces it took to create their plan or made a plan, including an estimation of how many pieces they might need, and then reflecting on their process. We will include this activity in our rotations later in the week.
Ask me about…
a symbol I created out of Legos,
the story that was told in Physical Education, and
a goal I have for myself as a learner or a friend.
