Math groups are in full swing! The younger kiddos are learning about number bonds and the relationship between numbers. They are learning how numbers can be added together to make a larger number. The older members of our class are investigating patterns and numbers to 100.
In social studies, we colored our own beautiful paper hearts and then discussed how bucket dips put cracks on the hearts. The cracks can be smoothed and filled with beautiful bucket filling but will never be perfectly smooth. Students then crumpled their paper hearts, smoothed them, and filled the cracks with water color.
We appreciate our Mystery Reader! Thank you for reading to our group today.
Ask me about…
what I did in math today,
how bucket dipping affects the heart, and
how the cracks can get filled.
