This week in Early Childhood, we starting creating a recipe book! During outdoor and inquiry time we noticed the ongoing kitchen, and mud kitchen, play. Many friends are using their creativity to discover new, interesting soup recipes! This is another sensory experience that allows our kids to explore with their sense of touch. Here are some of the recipes we created this week:

Flying Tomato Soup by Nikolette and Henry

Peppers, Tomatoes, Eggs, Milk, Cinnamon, Onions, Potatoes, Pasta

Yum Yum Soup by Bay

Here are your conversation starters for today:

“Ask Me About”

  1. Today we read, The Three Bears’ Halloween, during inquiry time. Who came to visit the three Bears? Were the three bears scared?

  2. What is your favorite kind of soup? Can you remember one of the recipes we made?

  3. What are you going to be for Halloween? Are you going to wear your costume to school?
