Investing in Your Child's Future
For families who value an individualized, relevant, and rigorous educational experience for their kids, Soundview builds a true partnership and prepares students for high school, college, and life.
Soundview is a school that reflects the diversity of our community. The best learning environment includes a diversity of learners, cultures, ethnicities, and life experiences. To achieve this diversity we offer flexible tuition options through our financial aid program.
What does it cost to attend Soundview?
2017-18 tuition for Early Childhood students is $16,800 and $19,500 for Kindergarten through 5th grade. Middle School tuition is $22,500. Tuition includes all school materials, supplies, and field trips. Middle School students are asked to provide their own portable device, such as a Chromebook or laptop, and a band instrument. A Chromebook would require a one-time expense of about $300, while instrument rental is between $264-$360 per year.
An $1,100 deposit is due with the enrollment contract and is applied to tuition. Payment plans are available. Extended Day childcare is an additional $7 per hour. After school enrichment activities, milk and lunch, and summer camp are available and not included in tuition.
Why is the tuition higher than other school options in Snohomish County?
Independent school tuition is higher than many other school options because we want our students to have the best teachers and most innovative curriculum in town. Our mission is our bottom line. We are a non-profit organization self-governed by a volunteer board of trustees and self-funded through tuition and fundraising. Every dollar goes back into serving our students and delivering our mission. We do not have shareholders, government funding, or religious subsidies. Therefore, those interests do not drive our educational aims and choices.
Should I apply for financial aid?
If monthly payments of $1,500-$2,000 per month would be a hardship to your family, we encourage you to apply for financial aid.
