This class is recommended for intermediate or advanced chess players. We will have chess lessons, chess quizzes, chess games and chess puzzles for Soundview kids. They will primarily play chess against each other, but also occasionally against the computer, and against the Teacher.

Teacher Bios:
Mr. Josh Sinanan is a chess National Master who works under Elena Donaldson, who is a Three Time US Women’s Champion. She played chess professionally for 13 years, 1977-1989. In 1986, Elena played a match for the World Championship Title, amongst her other achievements: two time World Chess Women’s Olympics Champion, three time Russia Women’s Chess Champion, and winner of many International Women’s Chess Tournaments. A Sunday column “Chess Studio with Elena Donaldson” is published weekly by Seattle Times since 1995.
