Soundview's elementary program develops early mastery of basic skills and critical thinking abilities. Small class sizes encourage personalized attention, while group exercises build social skills that show the possibilities and benefits of working together.

Soundview’s project-based learning becomes an integral part of their education, spanning subjects and teaching time-management and presentation skills. Enriching specialty classes explore technology, creativity and culture as students begin to define their role in a global society. Throughout the elementary grades we instill a passion for learning, celebrating each new step with a wide-eyed anticipation of the discoveries yet to come.

Our students build confidence in their oral and written skills and gain an introduction to critical analysis. Using an experiential approach, they begin to see the world as their classroom through hands-on science projects, museum visits and field trips that expand on social studies and history lessons, and class performances that enhance the language arts. Engaging multiple intelligences throughout each day, these early years surround children with endless avenues of academic growth while nurturing self-esteem and social interaction in an environment of success.
