For students going into 2nd-7th grade

In two week sessions this summer we are offering half day Singapore Math Enrichment for those who would like some review, are new to the school and would like to catch up, or just love math!

We will work on strengthening basic math computation skills through activities, explorations & drills.  In addition to the computation skills we will revisit topics from the Singapore Math curriculum to ensure that students are solid in the topics from the previous year while preparing them for the topics that they will encounter next year.  We will work on improving times on sprints, practice problem solving using bar models and cover concepts using hands on manipulative and Math labs.  

For new Soundview students we will work on ensuring that they are caught up on topics from previous years as to make sure they begin the school year on solid ground.  This time will be valuable for new students in that they will have small group instruction and individualized curriculum goals to help them be successful in the upcoming years.  As for the current students, this personalized instruction will help strengthen weaknesses & to fill gaps so that they can begin the new school year as confident math students.
