Fun and Friends offers an action packed program for young children.

Campers will have a chance to experiment with both the dramatic and visual arts, along with science and music. Using imagination and exploration, children will make new friends while learning, playing and laughing!

Campers will enjoy field trips and special projects throughout the summer. 

Weekly Themes for Summer 2010! 

Week One: June 21-25
Buggin’ 
Your eyes will be buggin’ out from all the amazing insects you will discover! Go on a bug safari to search for bugs and spiders; use your eyeglass to look at bugs close up and share with your camper friends what you discover.

Week Two: June 28-July 2
Patriotic Party
  Celebrate what makes our country great during this holiday week. Sing songs, make patriotic art and learn all about Independence Day while having fun.

Week Three: July 5-9
Animal Planet  So many animals, so little time. There are some crazy looking and   acting animals on this planet. Find out just how crazy these animals can get. See some of them up close with a trip to the zoo!

Week Four: July 12-16 
Under the Sea  What lies beneath our beautiful oceans? Find out at this intriguing camp where you will discover unique creatures. A crab that fiddles? Fish made of jelly? The clown of the ocean? Tiger shark? A dolphin with a bottle for a nose? Come explore our wonderful oceans with us!

Week Five: July 19-23  
Terrific Trees  Plants come in all shapes and sizes. Learn how they grow, survive and thrive. Plant your own seed and watch it grow right in front of your eyes! Explore and admire the giant trees that grow in Washington State.
Field Trip: Washington Park Arboretum

Week Six: July 26-30 
Red Light Special  Meet the Police and Fire Departments. Discover all that they do to serve and protect us. Talk with officers and firefighters up close and personal. Take a trip to the fire department to see where they work.

Week Seven: August 2-6
Creative Construction  Build anything you can imagine out of interesting and unusual items. Create using your hands, tools and elbow grease. Team up with Adventure campers to work on imagination building together. Take a trip to the Creation Station to take advantage of their   expertise in imaginative building.

Week Eight: August 8-13 
Space  Space, the final frontier! What is out there? How do we get there? How big is it? Find out all about outer space; stars, black holes, planets, meteors, spaceships and more.
