Methods of Tuition Payment

An enrollment deposit is due at the time of enrollment or re-enrollment and under no circumstances is the enrollment deposit refundable. All families must choose one of the following methods of tuition payment:

• Single tuition payment:
  This can be paid by cash, check or credit card. (Soundview accepts VISA and MasterCard). The total amount of tuition is due to the school by July 31st, 2009. All tuition payments made by credit card will incur an additional 2.5% fee to cover processing charges.
   
  
• SMART Tuition Payment Plan:
  Families choosing not to pay up front must pay in installments through SMART Tuition. Families may choose to pay in three, ten, or twelve installments (please review the “Tuition Payment Schedule” above). This plan has a one-time fee of $38 assessed by and due directly to SMART Tuition. Payments to SMART Tuition may be mailed in, or automatically deducted from a checking account or credit card. All credit card transactions incur an additional fee of 2.5%. More information is available on the SMART Tuition Registration form.

Before and After School Care

Soundview provides before and after school care as a convenience for parents who need to drop their students off early or pick them up after the school day is done. Supervised care is available starting at 7 am and until 6 pm. Students are escorted to Homework Club (grades 1-8) or Playschool (grades PS-K) after class if they are not picked up by parents. Students are given a snack and have the opportunity to work on homework or other quiet activities as well as outdoor recess. Before and after school care is billed monthly at a rate of $7 per hour.

Additional Fees and Cost

Limited additional fees may be required by classroom teachers for special classroom activities, supplies or experiences.

Field trip costs are not included in tuition.
